The 9060 is a new expression of the refined style and innovative design that have made the 99X series one of the most iconic models in New Balance history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from the 99X with a visionary sensibility, inspired by the visibly technological and proudly futuristic aesthetic of the Y2K era. Sway bars, taken from the 990, have been expanded and used throughout the upper for a sense of visible movement, while wavy lines and scaled-up proportions on the sculpted midsole place an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning platforms.
